"Ahhhh for the eyes" Neurolens graphic

Neurolens provides a unique contoured prism design that corrects eye misalignment where patients need it the most.

What is Neurolens?

The average American spends about 7 hours on their screens a day whether it’s at work, school, or during free time. All of this screen time leads to negative effects such as eye strain, headaches, dizziness, light sensitivity, dry eyes, and neck pain. These symptoms may be caused by a misalignment of the eyes. Neurolens offers a prescription lens that not only helps you see better but also feel better!

The Neurolens prescription lens is the world’s first and only contoured prism that will correct the misalignment of the eyes to counteract the negative effects of screen time. Contoured prism is a proprietary technology that increases gradually from the top to the bottom of the lens. Because our eyes need more help with misalignment at near, a contoured prism will prescribe the correct amount of prism for distance, then increase gradually for computer and finally maximize the prism at the bottom of the glasses for reading up close. This is different from a regular prism which will only have the same amount of prism throughout the lens and will not account for the patient’s increased demand at near.

How do I get tested for Neurolens?

Patients fill out a short questionnaire which can be filled out in office or online. Please let us know upon check-in for your appointment if you completed the online version.

After filling out the questionnaire, the patient will do a 3-minute test with the Neurolens eye-tracking measurement device. This device will precisely calculate the misalignment of the eyes to the hundredth degree. The doctor will then review the test results and will determine if the patient is a candidate for Neurolens.

If you suspect your symptoms may be related to your eyes, schedule an appointment online or text/call Lifetime Optometric.

Neurolens has a 90% success rate in reducing overall symptoms AND 73% of patients stated that their symptoms were mostly gone after 90 days! Click below to hear success stories.
